Job summary

TONG LOONG ENGINEERING PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a driver to transport materials, tools, machinery, and personnel to and from project sites. You will load and secure shipments safely, inspect vehicles, and support site operations.

The role requires a valid Class 4/5 license, at least 1 year of driving experience, and the ability to handle heavy loads. Construction-site experience and strong safety awareness are preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of driving experience with a valid Class 4 license.
• Should be physically able to lift 25–30 kg safely.
• Familiarity with Singapore road networks and delivery routes.
• Clean driving record with no major violations or accidents.
• Construction-site driving experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety practices.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles (Class 4/5) to transport materials, tools, machinery, and personnel to and from job sites.
• Ensure safe loading and unloading of materials and verify shipments are correct and secured.
• Inspect and maintain vehicles; report maintenance needs.
• Follow safety protocols and comply with traffic laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Assist in setup and breakdown of construction site equipment.
• Coordinate with project managers and site supervisors for timely deliveries.
• Maintain delivery logs, vehicle inspections, fuel usage, and related documentation.
• Perform other duties related to the construction site as directed.
