Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Site Mobility: Safely ferry site teams between pickup points, project sites and main office.
• Logistics & Material Handling: Transport documents, equipment, tools and construction materials to sites.
• Vehicle Care & Maintenance: Perform pre-trip checks and keep vehicle clean and well-maintained.
• Road Safety & EHS Compliance: Drive safely and ensure passengers follow safety protocols.
• General Operational Support: Assist with ad-hoc duties as directed by supervisor.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Site Mobility

• Safely ferry operational site teams and workers between designated pickup points, project sites, and the main office according to daily work schedules.
• Maintain punctuality and clear communication with site supervisors to ensure smooth site arrivals and departures.

Logistics & Material Handling

• Transport job-related documents, equipment, tools, and construction materials to designated site locations across Singapore.
• Perform safe loading, securing, and unloading of materials from the vehicle.

Vehicle Care & Maintenance

• Perform routine daily pre-trip vehicle checks to ensure the lorry is in optimal and safe operating condition.
• Keep the vehicle clean, well-maintained, and orderly at all times.
• Report any mechanical faults, damage, or routine servicing needs promptly to the fleet team.

Road Safety & EHS Compliance

• Drive in a safe, courteous, and defensive manner at all times, adhering strictly to Singapore's Road Traffic Act and transport regulations.
• Ensure all passengers adhere to vehicle safety protocols, including seatbelt usage and safe boarding/alighting procedures.

General Operational Support

• Assist with ad-hoc operational duties or tasks as assigned by the immediate supervisor or Head of Department.

Qualifications

• Candidates must possess a valid Singapore Class 3 Driving License with a clean driving record.
• Experience in operating 14-foot lorries is required for this role.
• Prior work experience in construction site logistics or utilities infrastructure is an advantage.
• Drivers should have strong familiarity with Singapore's road networks, expressways, and traffic safety regulations.

Other Information

• Work schedule: 4-day work week (Monday to Thursday)
• Vehicle must be returned to the office at No. 3 Sungei Kadut Drive, Singapore 729556 (North Singapore)
