Job description

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Claims Assistant to join the dynamic team at SME Motor Pte Ltd. As a Claims Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the processing and management of insurance claims, playing a vital role in ensuring efficient and effective claims resolution for our customers. In this full-time position, you will be based in our Kaki Bukit East Region office.

Responsibilities

  • Assist customer with accident reporting and documentation

  • Advise customer on claims procedures, repair processes, and documentation requirements

  • Follow up with workshop on status of repair and update customer

  • Providing excellent customer service and addressing customer inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner

  • Adhering to company policies, procedures, and industry regulations throughout the claims management process

  • Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the department head

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in motor insurance claims or automotive industry preferred

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with customers and colleagues

  • Proficient in using relevant claims management software and basic computer applications

  • Possess a valid Class 3 driving licence

  • A commitment to providing exceptional customer service and a genuine interest in the insurance industry

- Able to start work immediately or at short notice would be preferred.
