Job summary

Hexacon Construction Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an experienced Lead Civil & Structural Engineer to oversee building projects from design development through construction and handover. You will lead the civil and structural works, coordinate with project managers, consultants, architects and subcontractors, and ensure alignment with drawings, specs and Singapore codes.

You will review drawings, manage risk, mentor engineers, run site meetings, and drive quality, safety and on-time completion

Qualifications

Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required.
8+ years' experience in building construction with an A1 Main Contractor preferred.
Proven track record managing civil and structural works for large projects.
Strong knowledge of Singapore codes and site coordination.
Able to lead teams and liaise with consultants and clients.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage all civil and structural works from design through completion.
Coordinate with PMs, consultants, architects, subcontractors for project execution.
Review drawings, specs, method statements, and submissions.
Monitor foundation, piling, excavation, RC/steel structures.
Ensure works comply with drawings, specs, codes and regs.
Lead site meetings with stakeholders.
Mentor engineers and site personnel.
Review variations and assess cost impact.
