Job summary

Wan Heng Lee Engineering Pte Ltd is seeking a seasoned Civil/Structural Engineering Lead to manage a team of Structural Coordinators and BIM Modellers on design and coordination activities.

You will plan, design and coordinate civil and structural works, prepare calculations, drawings and technical documents, and liaise with clients, consultants and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are met on time and to the highest standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil/Structural engineering or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of civil/structural construction experience.
• Strong knowledge of structural specs and requirements.
• Demonstrated leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to lead a team, work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of Structural Coordinators and BIM Modellers in design and coordination activities.
• Plan, design and coordinate Civil & Structural engineering works in accordance with project requirements.
• Prepare design calculations, drawings and technical documents, and coordinate relevant authority submissions.
• Review Civil & Structural drawings, specifications and technical documents to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Coordinate and liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors and other trades, including M&E and architectural teams, on technical and project matters.
• Oversee Civil & Structural works on site and ensure construction activities are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality and safety requirements.
• Plan, coordinate and monitor project progress, and resolve technical and site issues to ensure timely completion.
• Attend project, technical and coordination meetings, as well as site inspections during the construction phase.
• Monitor test reports, inspections, Structural Testing (ST), Green Mark and constructability requirements, and ensure proper document control in accordance with company ISO standards.
