Job Description
- Responsible in evaluating tenders, costs, manage contracts and advice on contractual matter.
- Preparation of tender submission and tender documentation / drawing.
- Prepare and submit variation and cost claims.
- Prepare Variation Orders, claims, final accounts, settlement and sub-contractor payments
- Explore and implement innovative solutions and best practices on procurement, contract strategy and related function.
- Project budgeting and costing reports.
- Correspondence between all consultants / sub-con and suppliers.
- Analyze and compare quotations of various trade elements
- Attend site meetings when required
- Assist Manager in all other QS related job not limited to liaison with sub-contractors / suppliers, measurement of quantities, analyze cost comparison.
Drafter Responsibilities
- Create detailed technical drawings and shop drawings using CAD software
- Prepare material boards, coordinate design documentations and material selection.
- Review & revise drawings with accuracy for carpentry productions
- Actively collaborate with Project Team to ensure all site marking dimensions are correct and captured for accurate ordering of products.
- Team player and can communicate well.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Building / Civil Engineering/ Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 to 5 years of relevant working experience in the Construction industry.
- Proven ability in tender estimate, contract negotiation, contract administration & variation orders
- Able to work independent to estimate and prepare tender submission
- Able to work independently, be meticulous, analytical with excellent problem-solving skills, proactive, a good team player & able to meet tight deadlines
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
