Job Description
  • Responsible in evaluating tenders, costs, manage contracts and advice on contractual matter.
  • Preparation of tender submission and tender documentation / drawing.
  • Prepare and submit variation and cost claims.
  • Prepare Variation Orders, claims, final accounts, settlement and sub-contractor payments
  • Explore and implement innovative solutions and best practices on procurement, contract strategy and related function.
  • Project budgeting and costing reports.
  • Correspondence between all consultants / sub-con and suppliers.
  • Analyze and compare quotations of various trade elements
  • Attend site meetings when required
  • Assist Manager in all other QS related job not limited to liaison with sub-contractors / suppliers, measurement of quantities, analyze cost comparison.

Drafter Responsibilities

  • Create detailed technical drawings and shop drawings using CAD software
  • Prepare material boards, coordinate design documentations and material selection.
  • Review & revise drawings with accuracy for carpentry productions
  • Actively collaborate with Project Team to ensure all site marking dimensions are correct and captured for accurate ordering of products.
  • Team player and can communicate well.

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Building / Civil Engineering/ Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 to 5 years of relevant working experience in the Construction industry.
  • Proven ability in tender estimate, contract negotiation, contract administration & variation orders
  • Able to work independent to estimate and prepare tender submission
  • Able to work independently, be meticulous, analytical with excellent problem-solving skills, proactive, a good team player & able to meet tight deadlines
  • Good communication and negotiation skills.
