Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master’s may be required for senior roles).
• Professional Engineer (PE) license often required for senior roles or sign-off on plans.
• Relevant work experience in civil engineering; internships or prior positions acceptable.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and design/modeling tools.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to lead teams and ensure safety, quality, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed engineering plans for infrastructure projects (roads, bridges, buildings, water systems).
• Use CAD tools to create and analyze designs.
• Oversee construction and ensure designs meet specifications, budgets, and deadlines.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and stakeholders for project success.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and safety compliance.
• Prepare project documentation, reports, and contracts.
