Job summary

BGC GROUP PTE. LTD. is seeking a Civil Engineer to oversee and deliver building and infrastructure projects from planning to completion, with focus on schedules, budgets and overall delivery.

Experience in project management and engineering design is preferred, together with BIM knowledge and familiarity with public-sector contracts. Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in project management and engineering design for buildings/infrastructure.
• Working knowledge of BIM and familiarity with public-sector projects.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage building and infrastructure projects from planning through completion, including schedules and budgets.
• Manage tender process for consultancy and construction contracts, including specifications and evaluation.
• Lead and coordinate consultants and contractors in design, construction management and site supervision.
• Review designs, cost estimates and tender documentation prepared by consultants.
• Manage projects involving new buildings, renovations, greening and solarization initiatives, and marine facilities.
• Track progress, budgets and expenditures to meet requirements and timelines.
• Prepare and present progress updates, work plans and reports to management.
• Address and resolve technical matters arising during works.
• Coordinate with government agencies and stakeholders on project-related matters.
• Explore and implement technology solutions to improve delivery and management.
