Job summary

RMR INTERNATIONAL PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking a Civil Engineer or Diploma holder to plan, coordinate and supervise civil works across projects. You will review drawings and specs, coordinate with consultants, clients and subcontractors, and ensure compliance with schedules and safety requirements.

Responsibilities include site inspections, progress reporting, resource planning, and assisting in cost control, while maintaining thorough project documentation and liaising with authorities as needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in construction or civil projects preferred.
• Able to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.
• Good knowledge of site coordination, construction methods and project documentation.
• Good communication, problem-solving and coordination skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a project team.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, coordinate and supervise civil works.
• Review drawings, specifications, method statements and project requirements.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors and site teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor site progress, workmanship, quality and compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Ensure works are carried out in accordance with project schedules, safety requirements and relevant regulations.
• Prepare project schedules, progress reports, technical submissions and site documentation.
• Conduct site inspections and resolve technical or construction-related issues.
• Coordinate manpower, materials, machinery and other resources required for site activities.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure works are completed according to contractual requirements.
• Assist in quantity take-off, material planning and cost control.
• Attend project, technical and site coordination meetings.
• Liaise with relevant authorities and consultants when required.
• Ensure proper documentation of inspections, testing, approvals and completed works.
• Support testing, commissioning, handover and project completion activities.
• Perform other civil engineering and project-related duties assigned by management.
