Job summary

Aurecon invites a skilled drafter to join our Singapore team, contributing to a range of building and infrastructure projects. You will work within a capable group of specialists who bring ideas to life through precise drafting and documentation.

The role emphasizes adherence to Singapore regulations, collaboration with project managers, and maintaining rigorous project documentation. Strong proficiency in MicroStation and AutoCAD is essential, with BIM/Revit as a plus.

Qualifications

• Consistent and stable work history in similar engineering consulting environments.
• 5–8 years of drafting experience in civil infrastructure and construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of road, drainage and sewer alignment, utilities diversions, tree felling, paving and reinstatement drawings.
• Familiar with submission requirements to local authorities and Singapore codes of practice.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering notable Transport and Infrastructure projects to meet deadlines.
• Prepare project drawings for submission to clients.
• Revise work plans in consultation with C&S drafters & Engineers.
• Generate documentation, coordinate drafting work, and establish Singapore-specific drafting standards.
• Maintain proper register and filing of all project drawings per company standards.

What will you do?

In this position, you will join our Singapore business, where you will play an integral part in a team of highly skilled specialists that 'bring ideas to life' for our clients across all types of building and infrastructure projects. We know the work we do is vital in assisting our world's economic development and, it is the technical expertise and the depth of knowledge of our people that really sets us apart. Here are the key things you will do to 'bring ideas to life'.

• Assisting in the delivery of notable Transport and Infrastructure projects to meet deadlines.
• Prepare project drawings for submission to clients.
• Revision of work plans in consultation with other C&S drafters & Engineers.
• Generate documentation, coordinate drafting work, and establish drafting standards specific to Singapore regulatory requirements.
• Maintain a regular update of proper register and filing of all project drawings according to the Company's standards and procedures.
• Coordinate with relevant parties, such as project managers, to send updates and revisions of drawings.

The candidate shall possess:

• A consistent & stable working history within similar engineering consulting environment/s, with proficiency in MicroStation & AutoCAD. BIM & Revit skills will be an advantage.
• Min 5 - 8 years in drafting experience in civil infrastructure and construction projects.
• Strong knowledge on road, drainage and sewer alignment, utilities diversion, tree felling, paving and reinstatement drawings, C&S structural systems and detailing.
• Familiar with the submission requirements to the local authorities. Possess good understanding of Singapore code of practices, rules and regulations for construction industry.
• Able to work both independently and as a team member and have strong time management skills.
