Job description

The Role

The role reports directly to the Director / Team Lead. He or She is responsible for supporting Professional Engineers in the design and supervision of new erections, additions, and alterations (A&A) work to existing buildings, earth retaining and stabilising systems, specialist designs for facades, glass, demolition works, etc., as well as temporary works. The role may also require conducting site inspections. Senior engineers will provide guidance to other engineers and review their work.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out detailed analysis and design of civil, structural, and geotechnical works;
• Prepare design calculation reports and structural drawings for authorities' submissions;
• Coordinate with various stakeholders such as clients, consultants, and contractors;
• Supervise and inspect construction works;
• Senior engineers will provide guidance to other engineers and review their work.

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from a recognized institution;
• Strong fundamentals and analytical skills in geotechnical and structural analysis and design are advantageous;
• Knowledge of design and drafting software such as AutoCAD, STAAD.Pro, Plaxis, Prota, and Tedds is advantageous;
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply;
• For senior positions, at least 3 to 4 years of design experience required;
• Passing FEE 1 and FEE 2 is advantageous for senior hires.
