Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Chromatography Specialist to drive growth and customer engagement for our Liquid Chromatography (LC), Gas Chromatography (GC), Columns & Supplies, and Sample Preparation product lines. The successful candidate will manage existing accounts, develop new business opportunities, and provide technical sales support across assigned territories and industry verticals, including pharmaceuticals, chemicals, environmental, food & beverage, and academic sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Account Management:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve or exceed territory sales targets.
- Maintain and expand relationships with existing customers while identifying and closing new business opportunities.
- Conduct regular customer visits and virtual meetings to present chromatography solutions and resolve product inquiries.
- Technical Consultation:
- Act as a technical resource for customers, offering product recommendations based on application needs in LC, GC, columns, and sample prep workflows.
- Collaborate with application scientists and product specialists to support complex technical evaluations and trials.
- Market & Competitive Analysis:
- Monitor market trends, competitive products, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.
- CRM & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipelines, and account records using CRM tools.
- Provide timely reporting on customer interactions, sales activities, and business outcomes.
- Collaboration & Team Support:
- Partner with internal teams including marketing, customer service, and logistics to ensure a high standard of customer experience.
- Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events.
Required Qualifications:
- Diploma, Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of technical sales experience, preferably in chromatography or analytical instrumentation.
- Strong understanding of LC, GC, columns, and sample preparation workflows.
- Demonstrated success in B2B sales or account management in the life sciences or analytical laboratory space.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficient with CRM platforms and MS Office tools.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% within the assigned territory.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Diploma and Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Analytical Sciences, or related discipline.
- Experience working with pharmaceutical, environmental, or food & beverage testing laboratories.
- Familiarity with regulatory environments (e.g., GMP, ISO, EPA).
