Reporting to: Business Manager – Chockfast

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Carrying out chocking of engines, stern tubes, deck machinery, on a variety of vessels / installations in Singapore and surrounding countries.
• Applying Phillycald 1775/620TS and Devcon products.
• Customer liaison at job sites in various locations.
• Interpret technical drawings and documents to determine repair parts and procedures. Operate and inspect completed work to ensure success.
• Understand blueprints.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area daily.
• Conduct daily preventive maintenance on machine tools.
• Organize and store machining fixtures for future use.
• Assist the Foreman to complete the work scope within the given timeframe and perform self-inspection on finished workpieces.
• Manage time effectively and coordinate all aspects of assigned tasks.
• Plan jobs efficiently and schedule tasks appropriately.
• Use prescribed safety equipment and follow OSHA rules to ensure safety for yourself and colleagues.
• Prioritize safety and health, adhering strictly to company policies.
• Perform any other tasks as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications And Skills

Technical / Professional:

• At least ITE certificate or O’ Level qualification.

Technological:

• Technical knowledge relevant to the role.

General:

• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Handle work professionally, independently, and efficiently.
• Be quality conscious and meet productivity goals.
• Physically fit, hardworking, and proactive.
• Able to travel overseas.

People/Relations:

• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Industrial Knowledge:
