Job summary

SLC Education Centre Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is offering a Teaching Residency Programme for students to gain hands-on experience supporting Chinese language classes while earning a weekend income.

You will assist Main Teacher with classes of 8–15 students, prepare materials, and help learners stay engaged. MOE curriculum familiarity and strong communication are valued; commitment for 1–2 academic years is expected.

Qualifications

• O-Level, Polytechnic, A-Level or University students.
• Passionate about Chinese language and education.
• Responsible, patient, and detail-oriented.
• Able to commit for 1-2 academic years.
• Familiar with the PSLE or O-Level Chinese syllabus.

Responsibilities

• Support the Main Teacher in managing classes of 8–15 students.
• Prepare lesson materials and ensure smooth lesson delivery.
• Help students stay engaged and motivated.
• Learn the MOE Chinese curriculum and proven teaching methods.
