Job description

Daily duties

1. Planning, supervising and implementation of programme for the class in accordance with centre’s philosophy and pedagogy.

2. Carry out routine care activities to ensure safety, health and hygiene of the children. Examples of routine care activities are showering, handwashing, diapering, drinking of water, preparation of milk, assisting during meal times and ensuring children naps.

3. Be responsible for all aspects of classroom management including the upkeep of the classroom and learning environment.

4. Monitoring, assessing, recording and reporting on children’s developmental progression.

5. To assist in building and maintaining close partnership with parents.

6. Involvement in school activities and events.

3. Diploma in Early Childhood Care & Education – Teaching / WSQ Professional Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education (WSQ PDECCE) or equivalent / Relevant Degree qualification.
