Job summary

Nanyang International School in Singapore is seeking a qualified Chinese language teacher to design and deliver engaging lessons for students of diverse proficiency, aligning with our rigorous curriculum and international standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chinese or education or related field.
• Master's degree preferred for advanced teaching roles.
• Teaching certification in Chinese language instruction is required.

Job responsibilities:

• Design and deliver engaging Chinese language lessons to students of varying proficiency levels, following the school’s curriculum and standards.

Job requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chinese Language, Education, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• Teaching certification or relevant qualifications in Chinese language instruction.
• Proven experience teaching Chinese as a second language, preferably in an international school setting.
• Fluency in both Mandarin Chinese and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong understanding of Chinese language pedagogy and cultural nuances.
• Ability to create engaging and interactive lesson plans tailored to diverse learning needs.
• Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to foster a positive learning environment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail.
