Job summary

STUDY TRUST INTERNATIONAL (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. is seeking a curriculum developer and language tutor to shape content and assessment for the Chinese language program. You will create engaging resources and ensure alignment with education guidelines.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree or higher in linguistics/education, 1–2 years teaching Chinese to non-Chinese speakers, and strong English and Chinese communication. Proficiency with teaching software and video editing knowledge are advantages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree / Post-Graduate Diploma / Professional Degree in Linguistics/Languages, Education/Teaching, or equivalent.
• Minimum 1–2 years of teaching Chinese to non-Chinese speakers.
• Responsible, positive attitude, strong writing skills, ability to work in a team.
• Excellent communication in English and Chinese to engage bilingual customers.
• Proficient with teaching software and online learning platforms.
• Knowledge of video editing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• To develop and implement curriculum including assessment.
• Conduct research and design teaching resources for new curriculum content.
• To assist with the revision of curriculum, organize curriculum and backed up data.
• Ensure curriculum is implemented according to the guidelines.
• Provide voicing for video recordings to be used for online learning.
• Proficient in the use of teaching software and online learning platforms.
• Any other job-related duties and activities related to the position as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Candidates must possess at least a bachelor's degree/Post-Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Linguistics/Languages, Education/Teaching, or equivalent.
• Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in teaching the Chinese language to non-Chinese speakers.
• Responsibility, positive working attitude, strong writing skills, ability to work in a team.
• Possess excellent communication skills in both English and Chinese (to maintain and develop relationships with English and Chinese-speaking key customers).
• Proficient in the use of teaching software and online learning platforms for teaching.
• Knowledge in video editing is a plus factor.
