Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd (Healthcare & Life Science) is seeking a field-based Chiller Service Engineer to perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and commissioning of chiller systems at client sites in Singapore. You will respond to breakdown calls during standby shifts and travel to customer locations as required.

The role requires a minimum diploma/degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, with a focus on safety and high-quality service delivery.

Qualifications

• Min. Diploma/ Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical engineering.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of chiller systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns regarding chiller operations and maintenance.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system issues and implement effective solutions.
• Educate clients on proper operation and maintenance practices to extend the lifespan of their chiller systems.
• Prepare and submit detailed reports outlining service activities, findings, and recommendations for future improvements.
• Execute commissioning processes for new chiller installations, ensuring systems are installed correctly and functioning as designed.
• Collaborate with agent, customer and contractors to verify system performance and compliance with specifications.
• Foster a collaborative working relationship with contractors, encouraging teamwork and shared problem-solving.
• Work closely with the contractor to share knowledge, improve processes, and enhance overall service delivery.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing service tasks to ensure a safe working environment.
• Conduct safety briefings and ensure all parties understand their responsibilities regarding safety.
• May involve working in various environmental conditions, including outdoor settings.
• Field-based role with travel to client sites.
• Available to respond to chiller breakdown calls during assigned standby shifts.
