Job Scope – Indoor Children Playground Crew

Position Overview:

As a Playground Crew Member, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe, clean, and fun environment for children and families. Your role includes supervising play activities, maintaining hygiene and safety standards, assisting in party setups, and delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Customer Service

• Greet customers warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in/out procedures
• Provide clear instructions and rules to parents and children
• Handle customer inquiries and feedback professionally
• Assist with party bookings, registrations, and waivers when needed

2. Child Supervision & Play Facilitation

• Monitor children's activities within the playground to ensure safety
• Interact and engage with children positively, encouraging fun and safe play
• Intervene gently when unsafe behavior is observed
• Support in guiding children through play equipment and game zones

3. Safety & Cleanliness

• Conduct regular checks to ensure all equipment is in good working condition
• Disinfect high-touch surfaces and play structures regularly
• Promptly clean up spills, accidents, or any hazards
• Ensure children wear non-slip socks and follow safety rules

4. Event & Party Support

• Assist in setting up birthday parties and school excursions
• Help prepare decorations, goodie bags, and activity zones
• Support the hosting crew during parties, games, and cleanup

5. Operational Support

• Open and close the playground according to standard procedures
• Replenish stock (e.g. socks, sanitizers, goodie bags) when needed
• Report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor promptly
• Attend regular team meetings and training sessions

Requirements:

• Passion for working with children
• Friendly, patient, and responsible attitude
• Able to work on weekends, public holidays, and shift hours
• Physically active and able to stand for long periods
• Basic English or bilingual communication skills
• Prior experience in customer service or childcare is a plus

Work Schedule (for Staff):

• 2–3 off days per week, strictly arranged only between Monday to Thursday
