Job description

• Key Responsibilities:
• 1. Curriculum & Teaching
• Plan and implement daily lesson plans and activities based on children’s developmental needs.
• Use a variety of teaching methods (e.g., storytelling, hands-on activities, games, music, art).
• Assess and document children’s progress through observations and portfolios.
• 2. Childcare & Classroom Management
• Ensure a clean, safe, and conducive learning environment.
• Supervise children closely and attend to their basic needs (e.g., meals, hygiene, nap time).
• Manage classroom routines effectively and promote positive behaviour.
• 3. Parent Engagement
• Maintain regular communication with parents regarding children’s progress and concerns.
• Participate in parent-teacher conferences and school events.
• Job Requirements:
• Minimum Qualifications (Based on Level Taught):
• For Preschool Classes (18 months – 6 years):
• WSQ Professional Certificate / Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education (L1/L2 certified by ECDA)
• Diploma in Early Childhood Care & Education – Teaching (DECCE-T) or equivalent
• Must be L2 certified by ECDA
• Passionate in preschool education, love children.
