United Overseas Bank Limited (UOB) in Singapore is seeking a senior professional to lead first-line technology risk governance within TOGA. You will drive risk controls, coordinate with Technology and Operations teams, and report risk issues to governance committees.

You will mentor staff, collaborate with regulators and audit, and champion data-driven risk insights using analytics tools. The role demands strategic thinking and strong communication across multiple disciplines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 13 years of work experience with 7+ years in technology risk governance or related areas.
• Degree in IT, computing, data analytics or risk management; professional certifications are a plus.
• Knowledge of data analytics tools (QlikSense/PowerBI/Tableau) and programming languages is advantageous.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsabilités

• Support Group Head of Technology and Operations Assurance to drive first-line tech risk governance.
• Ensure adherence to technology risk framework, policies and guidelines across groups.
• Strengthen governance oversight and advise on technology risk matters to resolve issues.
• Analyze risk trends, prepare reports, and present to governance committees.
• Escalate risks and incidents timely; close key actions with artefact reviews.
• Liaise with regulators and group audit on responses and inspections.
• Leverage TOGA tools to enhance data analytics for risk identification and reporting.
• Mentor and develop team members to sustain performance.
