The CTO is responsible for defining and leading the technology strategy, ensuring the development and delivery of innovative, high-quality software solutions. The CTO oversees all technical aspects of the company, collaborates with other executives to align technology initiatives with business objectives, and ensures the company stays at the forefront of technological advancements.

Technology Strategy and Leadership

• Define and execute the company’s technology vision, ensuring alignment with overall business strategy.

• Identify emerging technologies and trends to maintain competitive advantage and ensure that the Company is able to keep up with and value add to the customers’ technology needs.

• Collaborate with the Chief Programs/Product Officer (CPO), Chief Operating Officer (COO) and end user stakeholders to align technical and product/project strategies, as well as capability build-up plans.

• Develop and monitor Yearly Plans and budget for Technology Office and R&D

Software Development and Delivery

• Ensure the adoption of modern development technologies & methodologies, including the use of suitable industry tested tools.

• Establish robust quality assurance and testing frameworks to deliver reliable and high-performing products.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements related to technology and data security.

Innovation and R&D

• Lead research and development initiatives to explore and implement cutting-edge technologies.

• Foster a culture of innovation, encouraging teams to experiment and push boundaries.

• Build partnerships with technology providers and academic institutions to drive innovation.

Technical Team Leadership

• Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing technical team, including Heads of Software and Systems Architecture, DevSecOps, System Security, UIUX Design, Software Testing, and Quality Assurance.

• Develop a strong technical talent pipeline to meet current and future needs.

• Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that promotes creativity and professional growth.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement

• Collaborate with the COO to ensure operational support for technical initiatives.

• Partner with the CPO to translate end user requirements into technical deliverables.

• Engage with end users, partners, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and provide technical guidance.

Risk Management and Security

• Identify and mitigate technical risks, ensuring business continuity and system reliability.

• Implement best practices for cybersecurity to protect the company’s data and assets.

• Establish protocols for disaster recovery and incident management.

• Strong expertise in software architecture, development methodologies, and IT infrastructure design and implementation (cloud and on-premise).
