Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead and execute our technology strategy, aligning it with business goals and driving innovation. This on-site role will oversee the development and management of technical products, ensuring they meet internal needs and deliver value to our organisation. The CTO will lead and guide product development, as well as manage cross-functional collaborations to ensure scalable, efficient, and secure solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive technology strategy that supports the company’s and its various entities' business goals and growth.
• Define and articulate the technology vision, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and leverage them for competitive advantage.

Product Strategy and Development:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritize product requirements, ensuring alignment with business and user needs.
• Manage product roadmaps and oversee the development process, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
• Provide technical guidance to product teams, ensuring the delivery of scalable, secure, and reliable products.

Stakeholder Management:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, sales, marketing, and engineering.
• Communicate product updates and changes to stakeholders, and gather continuous feedback for product improvement.

Innovation and Technical Expertise:

• Guide the technical development and architecture of solutions to ensure they meet business and security standards.
• Promote a culture of innovation, driving continuous improvement and the adoption of cutting-edge technologies such as cloud, AI, and machine learning.

Metrics and Reporting:

• Define and track key performance metrics to measure the success of technology initiatives and product performance.
• Prepare regular reports for executive leadership on progress, risks, and product outcomes.

User Focus:

• Ensure products deliver a seamless, high-quality user experience through rigorous testing and feedback loops.

Qualifications:

Required:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience: 7+ years in a technology leadership role, with experience in product management or technical product management.

Skills:

• Strong technical background with expertise in software development, system architecture, and cloud technologies.
• Proficient in managing multiple projects in an agile environment, driving collaboration across departments.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a focus on driving results.
• Experience in data-driven decision-making and optimizing product performance through analytics.

Preferred:

• Experience in scaling products within startup environments.
• Knowledge of emerging technologies such as AI, machine learning, or cloud platforms.
