As part of our growth journey, we are seeking a highly strategic and results-driven Chief Operating Officer (COO) to oversee and transform our operational and financial functions.

Role Overview

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) – Operations & Finance will be responsible for driving operational excellence, financial discipline, and scalable processes across Biomedia Holdings. This role will focus on optimizing warehousing, customer service, commercial excellence, shipping & logistics (including 3PL management), and finance operations.

Working closely with the Group CEO and the leadership team, the COO will play a critical role in building robust operational and financial infrastructure to support Biomedia’s continued growth and competitiveness.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management

  • Lead and optimize end-to-end supply chain and logistics functions, including warehousing, shipping, and 3PL provider management.
  • Ensure efficient, customer-centric operations that drive service excellence and business continuity.
  • Oversee customer service operations, ensuring responsiveness, accuracy, and a strong customer experience.
  • Drive commercial excellence initiatives to improve pricing strategies, sales support processes, and operational KPIs.

Finance Operations

  • Oversee finance operations, including reporting, compliance, working capital management, and internal controls.
  • Partner with the CEO and Finance team on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
  • Strengthen financial processes to support scalability, cost efficiency, and risk management.

Strategic & Leadership

  • Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with Biomedia’s long-term goals.
  • Serve as a key business partner to the CEO in driving growth, profitability, and market competitiveness.
  • Establish KPIs and metrics to monitor performance, productivity, and financial outcomes.
  • Lead and inspire cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven senior leadership experience in operations and/or finance, preferably within life sciences, healthcare, distribution, or related industries.
  • Strong track record in supply chain management, warehousing, customer service, and logistics.
  • Solid understanding of finance operations and ability to partner effectively with Finance leaders.
  • Demonstrated success in driving operational efficiency, commercial excellence, and process transformation.
  • Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving and execution skills.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field (MBA or equivalent preferred).
