Job summary

A leading recruitment agency in Singapore is seeking a Senior Operations Manager to implement operational strategies and oversee key business functions including HR, Finance, and IT. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the banking or fintech sectors, strong leadership capabilities, and a track record in strategic planning. A Bachelor's degree and experience in Asian markets are required for this role.

Job description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and implement operational strategies, plans, and procedures that support the company's overall vision and objectives.

  • Provide leadership and oversight for core business functions including HR, Finance, Legal, IT, Administration, Corporate Governance, and Investor Relations.

  • Partner closely with the CEO to shape and execute corporate strategy, ensuring effective translation of strategic priorities into operational initiatives.

  • Liaise with the Board of Directors, internal stakeholders, and the Parent Company to establish and uphold robust policies, processes, and governance standards.

  • Track and evaluate key departmental metrics and performance indicators to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement.

  • Act as a key representative of the company in engagements with external stakeholders, partners, and regulatory bodies.

  • Deliver regular performance and strategy reports to the CEO and Board, highlighting achievements, challenges, and actionable insights.

  • Drive the alignment of operations, people, and systems with the company’s strategic direction to support long-term growth and business transformation.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

  • With 5 - 10 years of progressive leadership experience, with at least 3 years spent in senior management positions.

  • Proven expertise in the banking software or fintech industry, with a strong track record of driving business success.

  • Exceptional financial and operational insight, including hands-on experience managing P&L responsibility.

  • Familiarity with enterprise systems like ERP, CRM, HRIS, and BI tools—a definite advantage.

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and key performance metrics to make informed decisions.

  • Experience working in Asian markets (China, Malaysia, Thailand, or other Southeast Asian countries)

  • Willingness to travel approximately once a month to support regional operations.
