An established industry player in the hospitality sector is seeking a dynamic Chief Marketing Officer to lead its marketing efforts at a large-scale resort in Southeast Asia. This role requires a seasoned professional with 15-20 years of experience, ideally in a multi-venue environment, to drive branding, promotions, and events aimed at attracting domestic and international customers. The successful candidate will work closely with the CEO and key departmental stakeholders to formulate impactful marketing strategies that stimulate growth in occupancy and revenue. Large-scale, Multi-venue Resort

International Management Team

Location: SE Asia

The Company

The organisation presides over a SE Asia large-scale hospitality and gaming resort featuring multiple entertainment and leisure facilities. Led by a noted CEO whilst enjoying particularly strong revenue and bottom-line growth, substantial plans for expansion are afoot complete with capital investment to enhance asset and infrastructure components over the coming years. To support its next phase of growth, it now seeks a suitably-experienced CMO.

The Position

Reporting to the CEO, the appointed individual will be responsible for all critical non-gaming commercial marketing strategy and implementation relating to branding, positioning, promotions and events pertaining domestic and in-bound customers. The overall objective will be to stimulate occupancy, footfall and revenue growth across a resort featuring 1500+ internationally-branded rooms, 25+ F&B venues, conference and banqueting and various sport and leisure facilities. The appointed individual will integrate and align marketing strategy with the objective of each key departmental stakeholder whilst building successful relationships with hospitality partners, travel agents and advertising/PR agencies. Concurrently, there will be a need to formulate impactful events and promotions that will firmly position the resort as a leading destination of choice.

This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Hospitality/Integrated Resort marketing leader to play a critical role within a resort that anticipates substantial growth.

The Person

The ideal candidate should be in their mid-career, offering around 15-20 years’ experience, most likely as a current SVP/EVP (Marketing) within a similar multi-venue, large-scale property cluster, preferably consisting of casino gaming operations. Current or prior experience within Asia is preferred whilst strong leadership and creativity are equally critical traits.
