Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC) in Singapore seeks an experienced legal professional to support the bank's transactional activities. You will advise on structuring, negotiation and execution of complex financing and corporate transactions, and partner with external counsel to manage legal risks.

Responsabilidades

• Provide legal support and advice on structuring, negotiation and execution of transactions.
• Partner with external counsel and manage legal risks; serve as trusted legal advisor to the Bank's business.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders including transaction management teams from the Front office and Compliance, Risk, Credit and Operations teams.
• Advise on legal aspects of credit & lending, litigation and other sensitive matters.
• Draft, update and maintain agreements, standard templates, framework, guidance notes and other legal documents; conduct internal trainings.
• Review NDAs, mandate letters, loan trading documentation, onboarding terms and other contracts; advise and negotiate on behalf of the Bank.
• Coordinate with Compliance and other internal stakeholders on implementation; assist Head of Legal across APAC.
