Job summary

Singapore-based institutionally backed data centre platform seeks a Chief Investment Officer to lead investment strategy, M&A and expansion across markets.

You will originate and evaluate opportunities, drive end-to-end deals, and build partnerships with hyperscalers and operators to fuel long-term growth.

Candidates should have 12 to 18+ years in data centre investments with direct industry experience and a proven ability to manage multiple transactions.

Responsibilities

• Lead investment origination, M&A and strategic expansion activities across target markets.

• Drive end-to-end M&A transactions, including due diligence, valuation, deal structuring, negotiations and execution.
• Establish relationships with hyperscalers, data centre operators, developers and strategic partners.

This is a key leadership appointment with responsibility for driving investment opportunities, acquisitions, joint ventures and strategic partnerships across multiple markets.

Responsibilities

• Lead investment origination, M&A and strategic expansion activities across target markets.
• Identify and evaluate data centre acquisitions, development opportunities, joint ventures and strategic partnerships.
• Drive end-to-end M&A transactions, including commercial due diligence, valuation, deal structuring, negotiations and execution.
• Establish and maintain relationships with hyperscalers, data centre operators, developers and strategic partners to originate commercially attractive opportunities.
• Assess investment opportunities based on market demand, power availability, customer requirements, commercial viability and investment returns.
• Define investment priorities and capital allocation strategies to support long-term growth objectives.
• Collaborate with development and commercial teams to progress opportunities from origination through investment approval and execution.
