Job description

We’re seeking an experienced CISO to join our executive services team on a part-time, client-facing basis. You’ll lead cybersecurity strategy, governance, and compliance oversight for our SME clients across various industries. This is a fractional engagement model, where your expertise will be applied across multiple businesses to help them mature their security posture without needing a full-time CISO.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and lead cybersecurity strategy aligned with business risk and regulatory needs.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to boards and senior leadership on threat posture and data protection.
  • Build and operationalize governance policies, including PDPA, MAS TRM, CSA Cyber Essentials.
  • Oversee incident response, threat detection, and breach management processes.
  • Guide secure cloud adoption, vendor risk reviews, and identity/access controls.
  • Design staff awareness and cyber hygiene programs that reduce human-related risks.
  • Ensure client audit readiness, defensible policies, and demonstrable cyber maturity.
Requirements
  • 10+ years in cybersecurity with leadership experience.
  • Strong experience with PDPA, MAS TRM, ISO 27001, and NIST.
  • CISSP, CISM, or equivalent certifications preferred.
  • Board-level communication and executive presence.
  • Comfortable working with SME clients
