This is a consulting-style role ideal for seasoned professionals who can align technology with business outcomes while managing multiple clients through structured engagements.
Key Responsibilities
Business-Aligned IT Strategy & Governance
- Design and execute multi-year IT roadmaps aligned with business goals and stakeholder priorities.
- Build IT governance using COBIT, ITIL, and ISO frameworks with real operational impact.
Digital Transformation & Data Modernization
- Lead cloud migration, automation initiatives, and data platform modernization.
- Drive adoption of AI-powered analytics for finance, ops, and customer intelligence.
Operational Intelligence & KPI Management
- Implement IT performance dashboards, SLAs, and real-time service insights.
- Enable cross-department visibility into system health, uptime, and cost efficiency.
Cost Optimization & Vendor Oversight
- Evaluate vendor contracts, SaaS usage, and shadow IT to optimize spend and reduce risk.
- Build procurement strategies with centralized governance and scalability.
Change Management & Cross-Functional Enablement
- Drive change adoption across departments with minimal disruption and strong alignment.
- Deliver IT tooling that enhances decision-making, compliance, and reporting.
Data Governance & Risk Control
- Oversee lifecycle management, master data structures, and AI data control points.
- Ensure privacy, compliance, and auditability across all digital systems.
Requirements
- 10+ years in IT leadership, digital transformation, or enterprise systems roles.
- Expertise in cloud strategy, data analytics, ITSM, and cross-functional enablement.
- Deep understanding of AI in operational optimization and regulatory context.
- Familiar with IT governance tools, business continuity frameworks, and stakeholder management.
- Available for engagement-based CIO leadership for SMEs and growth-stage companies.
