Job summary

Kerry Consulting client, a leading FinTech organisation, is seeking a Head of Engineering to lead its engineering function and drive scalable cloud-native platforms. Reporting to Group CTO, this is a senior leadership role responsible for defining the engineering strategy, building high-performing teams and delivering secure, resilient and innovative digital products.

You will partner with Product, Data and Business leaders to shape the technology roadmap and drive engineering excellence across

Qualifications

• At least 15 years of software engineering experience.
• Significant leadership experience building and scaling engineering teams.
• Experience in FinTech/SaaS or technology-driven organisations.
• Expertise in cloud-native technologies, microservices, and APIs.

Responsibilities

• Define engineering strategy and lead end-to-end delivery of scalable digital platforms.
• Champion modern engineering practices, including cloud-native architecture, DevOps, CI/CD and automation.
• Build and develop high-performing engineering teams and provide strategic technology leadership to senior stakeholders.
