JOB TITLE: CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER (CFO)

Role

The CFO is a key member of the leadership team, responsible for overseeing the school’s financial health, driving fundraising initiatives, and ensuring compliance with financial and regulatory requirements. This role requires a strong background in finance, accounting, and investment management, with proven experience in fundraising and private equity.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and execution of financial strategy aligned with the school’s mission and growth plan.
  • Oversee accounting, treasury, audit, tax, and risk management functions.
  • Drive fundraising efforts, including private equity, private fund, and institutional investors.
  • Establish and maintain internal financial controls and policies.
  • Manage relationships with auditors, bankers, regulators, and investors.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support executive decision-making.
  • Develop and mentor a finance team to support organizational growth.
  • Ensure compliance with international and local accounting standards and education-related regulations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field (MBA/CPA/CA preferred).
  • Minimum 10–15 years of progressive finance leadership experience.
  • Experience in both financial institutions (audit/finance firms) and corporate environments (buy-side or sell-side).
  • Proven fundraising experience, ideally within private equity or education-related sectors.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent command of English (spoken and written)
  • Adaptable to a fast-paced international school environment.
