Globecast is the leading global provider of content management and worldwide transmission services for professional broadcast delivery. The company operates a secure global satellite and fiber network to manage and transport 10 million hours of video and other rich media each year to direct-to-home satellite platforms; cable, IPTV, mobile and broadband headends; as well as corporate and digital signage networks.

We invite applicants for the following position:

APAC Chief Financial Officer

Key Responsibilities :

Performance Management

• Ensure actual results align with or exceed forecasts.

• Collaborate with APAC Business Owners to identify cost savings and efficiency opportunities.

• Drive business process improvements in partnership with Business Owners.

Accounting and Compliance

• Oversee financial controllership for APAC entities, ensuring compliance with global accounting standards and processes.

• Develop effective partnerships between finance teams and key stakeholders.

• Ensure compliance with statutory and organizational reporting requirements.

• Collaborate with global finance service teams to drive continuous process improvements.

• Enhance service delivery to meet evolving business needs.

• Strengthen the internal control environment and address audit findings.

• Identify opportunities for process automation and system optimization.

Financial Reporting

• Manage the accuracy, timeliness, and relevance of financial reporting (actuals, forecasts, budgets).

• Lead the APAC budget planning process.

• Provide senior management with actionable insights on revenue, costs, trends, and forecasts, recommending corrective actions as needed.

• Develop and implement reporting tools and metrics to track financial performance, including customer/product margins and project tracking.

• Benchmark performance against industry best practices.

• Contribute to the development of management discussion and analysis (MD&A) reports.

Commercial and Sales Support

• Lead regional implementation of global commercial frameworks, adapting to local requirements.

• Support the sales force in:

· Bid management for key accounts and critical deals.

· Deal strategy, structure, negotiation, and pricing.

· Business case development, including P&L, cash flow, and risk assessment.

· Contract management, including risk mitigation, change control, and dispute resolution.

Regional Finance Center (RFC) Management

• Develop and monitor service level agreements (SLAs) with clear KPIs to ensure customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.

• Ensure accurate and timely financial records and reports by maintaining robust internal controls and employing competent staff.

• Optimize operational efficiency, reduce transaction costs, and maximize economies of scale.

Team Leadership and Development

• Manage and mentor direct reports, setting clear performance criteria and providing feedback.

• Ensure RFC staff are well-trained, competent, and familiar with company policies and procedures.

Risk and Compliance

• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements across all activities.

• Manage infrastructure (IT, HR, facilities) to support efficient RFC operations.

Revenue and Profitability Focus

• Develop tools to analyze financial impacts of order books, contract databases, and customer/project margins.

• Ensure accurate pricing, bundling, and tracking of access revenues.

• Design sales compensation schemes aligned with company-wide objectives.

• Consolidate billing systems, monitor billing efficiency, and reduce billing cycle times.

• Proactively manage credit exposure, bad debt, and DSO improvements.

Key Skills and Competencies

• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience with commercial frameworks, contract management, and deal structuring.

• Strong focus on compliance and risk management.
