Job description

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic financial leadership and oversee all financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and compliance for the organization

• Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure the integrity of financial data and reporting

• Secure financing for property development projects, including debt, equity, and joint ventures opportunity

• Lead and oversee forecasting, budgeting, and financial performance exercise for projects and businesses

• Analyse financial performance, identify trends, and provide recommendations to the executive team to support informed decision-making

• Monitor project P&L and cash flow projections

• Manage the finance team, including mentoring and developing staff to drive continuous improvement

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the achievement of the company's strategic objectives

• Ensure the company remains compliant with all relevant financial regulations and legislation

• Ad hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor of Accountancy, Finance or any other relevant qualification such as a CPA/ CA or ACCA

• At least 8 - 10 years' experience in accounting position, preferably in a supervisory or senior management role

• Strong technical expertise in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and compliance
