The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be pivotal in steering our company's financial strategy and operations, ensuring financial stability and growth while aligning financial strategies with overarching business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's long-term goals. Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and executive team on financial performance and strategic initiatives.
  • Financial Management: Oversee financial operations, including accounting, reporting, and financial analysis. Ensure accurate and timely financial statements and reports.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the budgeting process and financial forecasting. Monitor and analyze financial performance against budgets and forecasts to identify areas for improvement.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and manage financial risks. Develop and implement risk management policies and procedures to safeguard the company's assets and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Governance & Compliance: Ensure adherence to financial regulations and standards. Oversee internal controls and audit processes to maintain financial integrity and transparency.
  • Business Planning: Collaborate with other departments to support business planning and decision-making. Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data and trends.
  • Negotiations & Relationships: Lead negotiations with financial partners, investors, and stakeholders. Build and maintain strong relationships with banks, investors, and other financial institutions.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the finance team. Foster a culture of high performance and continuous improvement within the finance department.

Requirements

  • Able to communicate effectively in native language with the Management Team from the Japanese headquarter.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial management, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role such as CFO, VP of Finance, or Director of Finance.
  • Proven track record of success in financial planning, analysis, and strategy development.
