Job description

1.1 Financial Policy & Compliance Framework

1.1.1 Establish and maintain the Group’s financial policies, accounting processes, and approval structures, ensuring compliance with applicable laws in Malaysia and Singapore, as well as public company regulations;

1.1.2 Promote digital transformation in financial operations and auditing transparency

1.2 Team Building and Financial Operations Management

1.2.1 Build and manage a regional finance team in Kuala Lumpur, covering accounting, tax, financial reporting, and analysis;

1.2.2 Gradually consolidate remote finance functions currently based in Singapore into the KL office;

1.2.3 Supervise daily operations and implement performance evaluation and talent development.

1.3 Financial Reporting and Analysis

1.3.1 Prepare and submit quarterly and annual financial statements aligned with Singapore stock exchange disclosure standards;

1.3.2 Lead forecasting, budgeting, and monitoring of budget implementation with periodic management reports;

1.3.3 Support financial feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for business units.

1.4 Audit Coordination and External Audit Liaison

1.4.1 Lead the Group’s annual audit schedule and ensure timely preparation, process coordination, and reporting;

1.4.2 Act as the primary liaison with external auditors and internal audit teams in both Malaysia and Singapore.

1.5 Banking and Cash Flow Management

1.5.1 Manage relationships with external banks and financial institutions, including credit facilities, accounts, and loans;

1.5.2 Oversee group-wide cash flow, ensuring liquidity safety and efficient fund allocations;

1.5.3 Propose strategic financing structures and facilitate execution when needed.

1.6 External Compliance and Announcements

1.6.1 Coordinate with the Board and legal teams to engage with the Singapore Exchange (SGX) and related regulators;

1.6.2 Prepare and release company announcements and required financial disclosures;

1.6.3 Serve as the finance representative in legal liaison, including audit opinions and contract financial terms.

1.7 Board and Executive Support

1.7.1 Participate in strategic and operational meetings and provide financial risk assessments and advisory;

1.7.2 Report on financial performance, key indicators, and early warnings to the CEO and Board.
