Job description

Responsibilities:

• Handle full set of accounts for global entities
• Manage financial and management accounting.
• Prepare,analyze and submit month-end and year-end closings within tight reporting deadlines
• Revenue analysis, variance explanation on monthly financial results
• Manage inventory movement entries and provisions
• Prepare budget and forecast for sales, profitability, Capex, working capital and operating cost
• Oversee audit, GST submission and corporate tax matters including liaising with external auditors and tax consultants
• Credi control, receivables and cash management
• Lead the finance team in multiple regions
• Review, design and implement effective internal control systems and financial procedures and processes.
• Drive ad-hoc projects to improve financial and operational procedures and processes

Requirements:

• Degree in Accountancy or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience with Accounting/Audit firm and marine industry.
• Knowledge of costing
• Computer literate with some experience in business system packages
• Highly competent in working on spreadsheet
• Pro-active spirit, independent, self-motivated, action-oriented, organized
