Job description

As an experienced Chartered Accountant (CA) with a minimum of 4 years of expertise in accounting, auditing, taxation, and team leadership, you will assume the role of Chief Finance Manager. Your responsibilities will include strengthening our financial functions and driving strategic initiatives.Your key responsibilities will involve reviewing and enhancing our current accounting systems, such as Chart of Accounts, methodologies, and documentation best practices. You will oversee daily bookkeeping functions, including accruals, journal entries, fixed assets, and general ledger maintenance, in collaboration with both remote and in-house accounting teams. Additionally, you will support quarterly and annual tax filings (Income Tax & GST) and manage foreign accounts. You will also be responsible for leading liaison with external auditors and assisting with statutory audits. Furthermore, your role will entail preparing, analyzing, and interpreting financial reports and metrics, maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of financial records, performing ad hoc financial analysis and special projects, reviewing general legal matters, and offering recommendations. You will be expected to identify opportunities to drive cost efficiency, process improvements, and technology upgrades in accounting. Additionally, you will lead and mentor your finance team and oversee MIS reporting.The ideal candidate for this position is a qualified CA with a minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting, auditing, taxation, and finance leadership. You should be proficient in Income Tax & GST filing, statutory compliance, and managing foreign accounts. As a strong communicator, analytical thinker, and team leader, you should also possess skills in MIS reporting, financial metrics, and providing actionable insights.This is a full-time position with benefits including health insurance.
