About the Role:
1. Strategic Leadership
- Define and implement business strategies to drive profitability and market expansion.
- Lead innovation efforts to stay ahead of fintech trends and evolving customer needs.
2. Operational Oversight
- Manage daily operations with a focus on excellence, scalability, and efficiency.
- Cultivate a performance-oriented culture with clear KPIs and accountability.
3. Financial Management
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial controls.
- Lead capital raising initiatives and ensure achievement of financial goals.
4. Regulatory Compliance & Governance
- Ensure compliance with MAS and other regulatory bodies.
- Build and maintain comprehensive risk management systems.
5. Product & Market Development
- Guide product development in digital payments and cross-border solutions.
- Identify and seize growth opportunities in domestic and regional markets.
6. Stakeholder Engagement
- Represent the company in dealings with regulators, investors, and industry bodies.
- Strengthen relationships with financial institutions, tech partners, and key stakeholders.
About the Requirements:
- At least 15 years of relevant experience, including 5–7 years in senior executive roles in fintech, digital payments, banking, or related sectors.
- Demonstrated success leading high-growth fintech businesses, preferably with regional or global exposure.
- Deep understanding of Singapore’s regulatory landscape and MAS compliance requirements.
- Proven track record in scaling businesses, fundraising, and building strategic alliances.
- Strong professional network within the fintech and financial services ecosystems in Singapore and the Asia-Pacific region.
- Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, technology, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Visionary leader with the ability to turn ideas into actionable strategies.
- Entrepreneurial and resilient, with strong decision-making skills under pressure.
- Inspiring presence capable of building trust and motivating cross-functional teams.
