Position Summary

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is the highest-ranking executive, responsible for the strategic direction, operational excellence, financial health, and market expansion of Spectrum Agrochemical. As CEO, you will play a pivotal role in driving business development across Southeast Asia, identifying new markets, forging regional partnerships, and leading sales and expansion efforts in emerging agribusiness hubs. You will collaborate closely with the Board of Directors, internal teams, and external stakeholders to scale Spectrum’s presence as a regional leader in sustainable agricultural solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Leadership

• Define and execute the company’s vision, growth roadmap, and go-to-market strategy with a strong regional focus.
• Translate agronomic trends and digital agriculture developments into strategic business opportunities.
• Drive ESG-oriented transformation in alignment with global sustainability standards.

2. Business Development & Regional Expansion

• Lead the company’s market development initiatives across Southeast Asia (including Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, and Malaysia).
• Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, distribution channels, and product partnerships.
• Build and manage strategic alliances with agri-input manufacturers, distributors, farming cooperatives, and government agencies in the region.
• Oversee regional sales performance, country-specific growth plans, and customer acquisition strategies.
• Attend and represent the company at industry events, trade missions, and conferences across SEA.

3. Financial Stewardship

• Develop annual budgets and multi-year financial forecasts aligned with the company’s regional expansion plans.
• Ensure robust financial management, including P&L oversight, margin protection, and cost optimization.
• Secure investment, trade finance, and growth capital where necessary for regional initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agriculture, Business, International Trade, or related field; MBA preferred.
• Strong network and cultural familiarity with SEA agribusiness ecosystems.
• Experience managing P&L, multi-country operations, and cross-functional teams.
• Deep understanding of sustainability trends, digital agriculture tools, and regulatory dynamics in the Southeast Asia region.
• Fluent in English; regional language(s) such as Vietnamese and/or Mandarin is a plus.
