A leading nursing home in Singapore is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to drive its strategic direction and oversee its growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for financial management, operational oversight, and representing the organization to stakeholders and the public. This role requires strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of the healthcare sector.
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is responsible for driving the direction of the Nursing Home, overseeing its growth plans and overall performance of the Home. The successful candidate reports to the Board of Directors and is the public face of the organization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITES
Strategic Leadership:
1) Develop and implement the Home's Vision and overall direction.
2) Formulate and execute strategic plans to advance the Home's mission and objectives.
3) Oversee overall operations to ensure efficiency, quality, service, and cost-effective management of resources.
4) Maintain in-depth knowledge of the industry in which the Home operates.
Financial Management:
1) Develop annual budgets and ensure the Home meets its financial goals.
2) Ensure the organization remains financially viable, making necessary financial decisions to strengthen financial sustainability of the Home.
3) Identify and manage financial risks and opportunities for the Home.
Operational Oversight:
1) Lead and manage the senior executives to ensure alignment with the Home's goals.
2) Monitor the Home's performance and implement improvements.
3) Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Media and Public Relations:
1) Serve as the Home's primary spokesperson.
2) Act as the figurative head of the organization when communicating with stakeholders, government entities and the general public.
3) Actively promote the awareness and publicity of the Home.
Government Relations:
1) Build and maintain positive relations with government agencies and authorities.
Fundraising and Partnerships:
1) Build and maintain strong relationships, as well as forge partnerships with stakeholders, government entities and the general public in furtherance of the Home's cause.
2) Identify and spearhead fundraising initiatives to ensure continuity and adequacy of the donation income stream.
Board Relations:
1) Report to the Board of Directors on a regular basis, providing timely and accurate information regarding the Home’s performance.
2) Work closely with the Board to develop policies and strategic plans.
3) Serve as a liaison between the Board and the Home’s management.
