Chief Design Engineer - Automation/Semicon Machine

Job Scope

• Spearhead the conceptualisation, design, and development of complex automation systems and semiconductor machines
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, production, and R&D teams to ensure the successful implementation of projects
• Oversee the testing and validation of prototypes to ensure they meet or exceed performance and quality standards
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, guiding them in their professional development
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in automation and semiconductor technologies
• Work closely with customers to understand their requirements and translate them into innovative design solutions
• Ensure all projects comply with relevant safety, regulatory, and environmental standards

Requirements

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in designing and developing automation systems or semiconductor equipment
• Demonstrated expertise in CAD software, simulation tools, and project management methodologies
• Proficient in interpreting technical specifications, blueprints, and schematics
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Thorough understanding of relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices
