Adam’s Family Catering is hiring a Chief Cook for our Seafood Indian Muslim restaurant. The role involves overseeing daily cooking, managing kitchen staff, and maintaining food quality and hygiene, and must be experienced in Indian-Muslim, Malay, Western, and seafood dishes.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise kitchen staff
- Prepare and cook restaurant’s dishes such as nasi goreng, mee goreng, grilled seafood, Western food cuisines
- Ensure food quality, consistency, and hygiene
- Manage kitchen inventory and supplier orders
- Maintain compliance with SFA food safety regulations
Requirements:
- High School / Secondary School Certificate or equivalent
- At least 2 years of kitchen experience, with 1–2 years in a leadership role
- Skilled in Indian-Muslim, Malay, Western, and seafood cuisine
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate required
- Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
