Job summary

Hitalent seeks a Chief AI Officer to lead the end-to-end enterprise AI transformation for the group, including infrastructure, foundation model R&D, and industrial AI applications. You will own the global AI center strategy, staffing, and cross-border collaboration with SG, China, and US R&D hubs.

The role reports to the CEO, with direct influence on ROI, policy, and long-term AI investments across product, manufacturing, sales and admin.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

• Enterprise AI Transformation Strategy
  • Define group-wide medium, long‑term AI vision, roadmap, and investment budget aligned with CEO and business leadership.
  • Drive company-wide AI digital reform, identify high‑value AI use cases across product, R&D, manufacturing, sales and admin to deliver measurable business benefits.
  • Establish AI governance, risk control and compliance framework covering data security, model audit, PDPA/GDPR cross‑region regulatory requirements for Singapore and global markets.
• Full‑stack AI Vertical Management (AIDC Infrastructure + Foundation Model + AI Applications)
  • AIDC & AI Infrastructure: Lead planning and construction of heterogeneous computing clusters, MLOps platform, training/inference resource scheduling, cost optimization of GPU/CPU resources; design hybrid cloud and on‑premises AI infra architecture for Singapore center.
  • Foundation Model & Core Algorithm: Oversee internal LLM/multimodal model pre‑training, fine‑tuning, agent capability iteration; evaluate third‑party model partnerships, balance self‑developed vs outsourced tech route.
  • AI Application Industrialization: Drive full‑lifecycle delivery of production‑grade AI solutions, scale verified AI pilots to all business lines; build internal AI tool platform to lower AI adoption threshold for all departments.
• Global AI Center Build & Operation
  • Take end‑to‑end responsibility for setting up Singapore AI center from 0 to 1: site planning, team scaling, local talent recruitment, cross‑region collaboration mechanism between SG, China and US R&D hubs.
  • Build local industry, university and VC ecosystem partnerships in Singapore to attract top global AI researchers and engineers.
• Global AI Team Leadership & Talent Strategy
  • Build and manage a multidisciplinary global AI organization including infra engineers, model scientists, AI product and application teams; design tiered talent development and retention mechanism for star AI talents.
  • Source top AI executives & specialists from leading US/China tech companies, design competitive global compensation & mobility policies for cross‑border staff.
• Language Ability: Native English and Chinese.
• C‑level Stakeholder & External Communication
  • Present AI progress, ROI and strategic risks to CEO, board and business division heads.
  • Represent the group at Singapore tech forums, cross‑border AI industry cooperation and investor communication.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master/PhD in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, AI, Machine Learning or related majors; solid AI industry experience; VP/CAIO/Global AI Head executive experience reporting to CEO/Founder.
• Experience managing global AI team members; existing Singapore talent & industry resources.
• Proven track record managing full AI stack: AIDC computing infrastructure, foundation model R&D and large‑scale commercial AI application landing.
• Zero‑to‑one experience building regional/global AI R&D centers, familiar with Singapore tech policy, talent visa and data compliance rules (PDPA).
• Clear business mindset: able to translate AI technology into revenue growth, cost reduction and efficiency improvement KPIs, with successful AI transformation cases for large enterprises.

Preferred

• Background in automotive, enterprise software or large manufacturing industry.
• Experience from top star AI firms in the market; strong cross‑cultural team management capability.

Chief AI Officer

Job Location: Singapore (preferred); flexible for top talents based in China / US.

Reporting Line: Directly report to CEO.

Role Overview: This is a VP‑level executive role owning the end‑to‑end enterprise AI transformation strategy of the group. You will lead the full AI vertical covering AIDC infrastructure, foundation model R&D and industry AI application incubation and take full ownership to build our global AI Innovation Center headquartered. We target top‑tier AI leaders from star tech/automotive/enterprise software firms with cross‑border team building experience, balancing technical architecture, business ROI and global talent layout.
