Job Summary:

The Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) plays a critical executive leadership role in overseeing the day-to-day administrative operations. This includes managing production, R&D, quality control, regulatory affairs, sales, marketing, and financial performance. This role is pivotal in providing support to all functions of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

  • Collaborate with the executive team to shape strategic plans and translate them into actionable goals.
  • Develop and implement long-term business strategies aligned with corporate objectives.

Operations Management:

  • Oversee and coordinate daily administrative functions including HR, legal, IT, facilities management and compliance.
  • Optimize operational workflows to improve efficiency, scalability and cost-effectiveness.

Team Leadership:

  • Supervise & lead cross functional teams
  • Foster a high-performance culture and accountability.

Budgeting & Financial Administration:

  • Collaborate with the CFO to develop and monitor budgets.
  • Implement financial controls and cost-saving initiatives without compromising operational quality.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Coordinate with R&D, manufacturing, marketing, and sales to ensure alignment of administrative support services.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance communication and information flow across departments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences, or related field.
  • 10+ years of executive-level experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology or healthcare industry.
  • Strong understanding of all functions and operations.
  • Proven ability to lead complex organizational functions and manage large, diverse teams.
