Chemistry Teacher-CLSP/IGCSE

Responsibilities

• KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Functional

• Handle Chemistry classes for IGCSE / CLSP 7 to 10.
• Plan the curriculum for the respective grade for the year.
• Develop lesson plans in accordance with curriculum guidelines and present them to academic coordinators for approval.
• Review feedback from academic coordinators and revise lesson plans accordingly.
• Stay updated with the latest teaching aids, such as technology in classroom learning, and integrate these into teaching.
• Create engaging learning opportunities and foster a conducive classroom environment.
• Develop worksheets, handouts, and other materials aligned with lesson plans, curriculum, assessments, and exams.
• Mark and correct student assignments in a timely manner.
• Assess, record, and report on students' development, progress, and results.
• Identify students needing additional academic or non-academic support and ensure they receive it.
• Participate in extra-curricular activities, school assemblies, meetings, and conferences.
• Ensure student safety at all times.

Interaction

• Collaborate with other teachers to share ideas, teaching approaches, and professional knowledge.
• Communicate with parents and provide feedback during Parent-Teacher Meetings and as needed.

Job Requirements

• Minimum Qualification: Graduate & Bachelor in Education (Specialization in Chemistry).
• Experience: 3-5 years of teaching experience.
