Job description

Overview

Element has an opportunity for a Laboratory Technician for sample preparation & testings. He/She also needs to assist chemist in laboratory testing, and on-site sampling (if required).

This role is based in Jalan Boon Lay, Singapore.

Responsibilities

Job Duties:

• Prepare chemical mixture and reagents
• Treatment of wasterwater at trade effluent plant to ensure discharge compliance
• Clean and return of laboratory glassware
• Administrative dispatch, and filing & retrieval of documents
• Assist in simple analysis involving processes such as filtering and drying

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Diploma in Chemistry or equivalent
• Ablility to work in teams under pressure and a team player with initiative
• Highly motivated, organised individual and possess good communication skills
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and adhere to deadlines
• Knowledge & experience of testing equipment and operation is advantageous
