The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related field and offers night shift work from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am with a competitive package. Candidates with lab experience are welcome; the team emphasizes safety, documentation, and equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine process tasks and analyses to support R&D activities.
• Prepare and maintain process equipment and supplies.
• Collect, record, and analyze data per SOPs.
• Assist in development and validation of new testing methods.
• Maintain a safe and organized process environment.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to troubleshoot issues.
• Maintain detailed documentation and records of all process activities.
• Rotate to other labs to assist sequencing activities as required.

About the role

BIO BASIC ASIA PACIFIC PTE. LTD. is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Chemistry Lab Technician (Night Shift) to join our team in the Joo Koon West and Jurong West Region. This full‑time role will require you to utilize your expertise in the Process & Technical Services industry to support the company's strategic objectives.

What you'll be doing

• Perform routine process tasks and analyses to support research and development activities
• Prepare and maintain process equipment and supplies
• Collect, record, and analyse data in accordance with standard operating procedures
• Assist in the development and validation of new testing methods
• Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and organized process environment
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues
• Maintain detailed documentation and records of all process activities
• Rotational work to other laboratory to assist in sequencing activities, as required.

What we're looking for

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biological Sciences or a related scientific field
• Relevant experience in a process or technical services environment (candidates without or with laboratory experience also welcome)
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a keen attention to detail
• Proficiency in the use of process equipment and instrumentation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and safety protocols
