Chemist / Lab Tech / Lab Analyst

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Chemist to join our team. This is a hands-on, strategic role where you'll play a key part in the commissioning and operation of a world-class facility. You’ll be responsible for establishing lab systems, managing and training analysts, and ensuring smooth and safe lab operations that meet the highest quality standards.

• Lead setup and validation of laboratory instruments, systems, and procedures
• Develop, implement, and maintain QC specifications and standards
• Interpret complex lab results and ensure accurate classification of final products
• Troubleshoot equipment and analytical issues, ensuring data integrity and reliability
• Manage lab audits, certifications, and compliance with HSEQ standards
• Train and mentor Laboratory Analysts on methods, instruments, and safety practices
• Support cross-functional teams (Manufacturing, Sales, Quality, Product Management)
• Conduct internal audits and drive continuous improvement in lab operations
• Liaise with suppliers and vendors for procurement and equipment support
• Monitor daily lab analysis and assist in process troubleshooting
• Lead special lab projects and new product trials

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in an analytical lab within a manufacturing environment
• Proven experience in setting up new laboratories and establishing lab systems
• Hands-on experience with GC, ICP, GC-MS, Antek, KF, IR, UV, Extruder, DSC, etc.
• Strong background in statistical process and quality control
• Knowledge in polymer testing is preferred
• Familiar with SAP, LIMS, and advanced MS Office tools
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Self-driven, organized, and capable of multitasking under pressure
