Job summary

Ecolab Pte Ltd is offering an internship for a Chemist to support technical platform development by coordinating a water testing project for a global customer. The role involves developing/validating analytical methods and performing tests using IC/GC/ICP instruments in a lab setting.

The intern will work with colleagues across the department and other units to deliver results within lead times and to respond to customer queries, while gaining hands-on experience with advanced analytical

Qualifications

• Undergraduate pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or Environmental Science.
• Willing to work in a testing lab.
• Good communication and team player.
• Working location: Gul Lane, Singapore.

Job description

Ecolab is seeking an Intern,Chemistto execute technical laboratory activities in support of technical platform development.

The main responsibility is to coordinate a water testing project for a global Ecolab customer, below are the details:

• Develop and/or validate analytical methods to test industrial water samples: cations, anions, volatile / semi-volatile organic compounds etc.

• Work with colleagues within the dept, Ecolab business units and external labs to ensure all the results are ready within the agreed lead time.

• Perform water testing using analytical instruments such as IC, GC, ICP etc.

• Work with colleagues within the dept to answer customer queries.
